Keynotes District background: Brawley Elementary School District is comprised of two K-3 schools, two K, 4-6 schools, and one middle school (grades 7-8). Brawley Elementary School District is situated in Imperial County in Southern California. Brawley, with a population of approximately 22,500, is a rural community 27 miles north of the port of entry into the U.S. from Mexicali, Mexico. Imperial Valley is ranked fourth in the nation in terms of agricultural production and 30% of its parents are employed in agricultural jobs.
