MRL Associates - Chris Briggs-Hale

Chris Briggs-Hale is an expert on proven techniques that support whole school reform, staff development, character education, and mathematics reform. He has served as a senior consultant at McREL, an elementary school principal, and a member of the National Board of Directors for Community of Caring in Washington, DC. With all this experience, Chris' first professional love is teaching, and he currently serves the students at Columbine Elementary School in Woodland Park, Colorado (a 2000 National School of Character) in this role.
Chris is founder of the Southern Colorado Mathematics Leadership Institute and Waterfall Learning. He has led and conducted numerous presentations and workshops on school improvement and reform for community groups, administrators, and elementary, middle, and high school teachers in more than a dozen states.
He received the 2004 Sally K. Lenhardt Professional Leadership Award from Lesley University and was named 2004 Community of Caring National Administrator of the Year. Chris earned a bachelor of arts from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and a master of education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
