MRL Associates - Mark P. Foseid

Mark P. Foseid is a consultant for MRL with more than 30 years of experience in K-12 education. He has been a teacher at upper elementary and middle levels in all core subject areas, dean of students, assistant principal, and elementary principal. His work centers on the study of learning, with practical applications of the research and strategies supporting student achievement in standards-based systems.

Mark has worked as a trainer for the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and has a 10-year association with Dr. Robert J. Marzano. He has successfully implemented much of Dr. Marzano's work into his teaching and at the building organizational level. He coauthored A Handbook for Classroom Management That Works (with Dr. Marzano). He has consulted educators in Dimensions of Learning, Classroom Instruction That Works, Classroom Management That Works, What Works in Schools, The Art and Science of Teaching, standards-based curriculum design, leadership, and organizational development.

Mark has industry laboratory research experience and has been recognized by both the Cherry Creek School District and the Colorado Department of Education for excellence in teaching. Mark received a master's degree in curriculum and supervision from the University of Colorado and a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
