  • Assess students' engagement.
  • Use four categories of strategies on a daily basis: effective pacing, demonstrating intensity and enthusiasm, building positive teacher-student and student-student relationships, and using effective verbal feedback.

For the 3 Semester Hour course, you'll receive feedback from certified educators. Grades on the midterm and final will be calculated using a rubric (provided to you). Grades are then submitted to the University of North Dakota for credit.

How can I tell if the credits will apply to my state requirements? Credits vary by state and district. Check your state here: www.kdsi.org/Professional-Development.aspx. If you do not see your state listed with your course, check back soon, as more states are being added.

If my school district pays for the CEU version, can I pay the extra $220 to upgrade to the 3 Semester Hour course? You may pay the extra, but we must know before you enroll. Contact KDS at kdssupport@pcgus.com before you begin the course to arrange upgrades and payment.

What university provides the 3 Semester Hours? The University of North Dakota

How do I claim the 3 Semester Hours for my course? Credit is issued through the University of North Dakota after they receive your final grade. To obtain college credit, you will need to coordinate with the course developer—Knowledge Delivery Systems—and the accrediting university, North Dakota University. To start this process, call Knowledge Delivery Systems toll free at 800.728.0032 or email kdssupport@pcgus.com.

Is the credit I receive from the University of North Dakota transferable? Credit from the University of North Dakota is nontransferable.

My school is outside the US. How can I tell if the credits will apply internationally? Email your questions to kdssupport@pcgus.com.

I want to change some of the names and emails I sent in for my district. Is it too late? Changing names or emails may cause a delay in accessing the course. If the course has been accessed, we cannot issue a refund. If participant information needs to be changed, contact KDS at kdssupport@pcgus.com before you begin the course.
