As program coordinator, Kachi uses her administrative, analytical, and organization skills to help track and manage projects designed to improve education. Having worked as a teacher and coach in schools, she has seen firsthand the issues faced in education, giving her a strong desire to be part of a solution.
Kachi supports the Marzano Research team by developing and tracking project timelines, monitoring deliverables, and managing databases. She is also integral in the development and organization of annual plans and monthly and quarterly progress reports for the Regional Educational Laboratory Central contract.
After teaching middle and high school English for five years, Kachi turned her goals toward administrative operations. She worked as an administrator for hospital billing and as a project coordinator at a purchasing firm. That career path led her to Marzano Research and returned her to her first love—education. For 13 years, she has also been a coach for the Mock Trial Law and Leadership program at Regis Jesuit High School which teaches high school students the basics of advocacy and the legal system.
Kachi received a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, as well as a bachelor’s degree in English and Italian, from the University of Denver.
