Stuart Keogh
Associate Researcher
Hi. I am Stuart, and I am an associate researcher at Marzano Research. I spent over a decade in public education, serving as a secondary science teacher, soccer coach, and campus instructional coach. I have a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton State University, a graduate certificate in Applied Statistics, and a Ph.D. in Education Science from the University of Kentucky. At Kentucky, my primary areas of research were equity in school funding and student attendance. I love supporting schools in evaluating their current programs or in implementing something new.
I currently live near Fort Worth, Texas, with my wife and two kids. My family is also fortunate to spend a lot of time in the Taos area of New Mexico.
You can often find me:
- Swimming laps at the pool
- Reading with my kids
- Watching anything Marvel or DC
- Taking my kids to soccer
- Hiking in the mountains of New Mexico
What I could talk about for hours:
- Anatomy and Physiology (I taught it for many years)
- College football
- School funding
