With a passion for education and helping others, Angela loves her behind-the-scenes and problem-solving work as an administrative specialist, supporting the day-to-day operations of the Marzano Research office. She believes that improving education benefits everyone and enjoys building on the skills she developed in her previous school settings.
In her role, Angela supports the staff by scheduling meetings, assisting the chief financial, planning events, maintaining the office, and helping with technology. She also works with the administrative team for the Regional Educational Laboratory Central contract to coordinate Governing Board meetings and provide general assistance.
Before joining Marzano Research, Angela spent two years in AmeriCorps as a volunteer coordinator and assistant to the family liaison at the school in which she was working, followed by eight years in office support and operational management roles at a K–12 charter school.
Angela earned her bachelor’s degrees in family social science and Spanish studies at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
